What we are looking for
We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our Technology team. In this critical role, you will be at the forefront of driving data insights that optimize decision-making and enhance operational efficiency for both our business and client partners. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will leverage your expertise in BI development to design and implement solutions that streamline data workflows and deliver actionable insights. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the data-driven strategies that support our company's growth and success.

As a key member of the Technology team, your contributions will extend beyond immediate tasks. Your insights and feedback will be vital in enhancing how we support both the organization and our partners. As you deepen your knowledge of our business and internal systems, your responsibilities will grow, giving you the opportunity to make a lasting impact on our organization.

Your responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Tableau reports and dashboards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and define requirements
  • Build complex data visualizations and reports with a focus on clarity and actionable insights
  • Optimize the performance of dashboards and reports
  • Work with SQL to build queries, data extraction, and transformation processes
  • Ensure data accuracy, security, and alignment with business goals
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of BI systems and processes

You are
  • Strong communicator with the ability to translate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent team player and collaborator
  • Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to problem-solving
  • Adaptable, able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation

You have
  • 5-8 years of strong experience in Tableau and BI development platforms
  • In-depth knowledge of the BI development lifecycle
  • 5+ years of work experience with Tableau Desktop and Server version 2023 and above
  • Strong experience in SQL, building complex queries
  • Experience in building drill-down/complex reports and dashboards
  • Hands-on experience in dashboard performance optimization and action filters
  • Knowledge of Row-level Security in Tableau
  • Familiarity with analytical/window functions, indexing, partitioning, and different join types
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, AWS) and Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse (beneficial but not essential)
  • Basic understanding of Python programming (beneficial but not essential)
  • Ability to collaborate with international teams across cultures and time zones
