What we are looking for
We are looking for a HR Manager to join our team and lead critical HR functions, including recruiting, employee benefits, visa and international contracting, and claims management. As a key member of the HR team, you will report directly to the CFO and work cross-functionally to ensure effective workforce planning, employee engagement, and compliance with multi-state and international labor laws. Your role will be integral in supporting the organization’s strategic goals and maintaining a supportive work environment for our teams.

We are looking for a HR Manager to join our team and lead critical HR functions, including recruiting, employee benefits, visa and international contracting, and claims management. Your responsibilities
- Partner with the CFO and HR Generalist to support daily HR functions, including employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and onboarding/offboarding.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, including drafting job descriptions, posting openings, conducting recruiter screenings, and collaborating with hiring managers to identify top talent.
- Manage visa sponsorship for employees on H-1B, student visas, and other work visas, coordinating with legal counsel to ensure compliance, monitor renewals, and oversee filings for extensions and green card processes.
- Handle compliance and management of multi-state and international employee and independent contractor matters, ensuring adherence to labor laws, regulations, and contract renewals.
- Administer and maintain the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy, system optimization, user access management, and seamless integration with HR processes.
- Oversee benefits enrollment and administration, including Short-Term Disability (STD), Long-Term Disability (LTD), and compliance with Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting requirements
- Assist with payroll debits for visa employees and ensure compliance with FLSA, FMLA, ACA, COBRA, and payroll tax regulations.

You have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus on Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in Human Resources, including 1-3 years of HR management experience, preferably within healthcare, with a strong understanding of industry-specific compliance and requirements.
- Experience with visa sponsorships and managing both domestic and international contractors.
- Proficiency in HRIS and related platforms (e.g., Trinet, Zenefits, JazzHR, Lattice, Fringe.us, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
